Hoang Xuan Vinh - a Vietnamese shooter

Hoang Xuan Vinh (born 1974 in Son Tay Town, Hanoi) is a Vietnamese shooter. He won the gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Pistol event at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The gold medal that Hoang Xuan Vinh won at the 2016 Summer Olympics was historic as it was the first gold medal for Vietnam at the Olympics.

He then went on to win a silver medal in the men's 50m pistol event.
